Indira & Dave, a hot sunny day and an outdoor ceremony.
I’ve had the funniest conversations with guests after ceremonies, each half of a couple coming up to say “Shhhh! That was better than my own wedding!” only for their partner to find me a few minutes later to say exactly the same thing. It’s ok, your secret is safe with me.
Recommendations are wonderful and as I’m so in the moment of loving and supporting a couple and their unique personalities, and yes I clearly include guests, but I guess sometimes I’d do well to remember that this might be the first experience some guests have of a different way of doing things. It’s off the charts emotional. The happiness is absolutely genuine, I have the very very best job. But really it’s quite simple-I’m just reflecting what’s there already. Love, in all it’s fantastic glory.
Indira and Dave held their ceremony outside on a stunningly beautiful day. A ceremony full of stories which include The Hemmingford Massive, Student Union drinks, Nas, the best-worst films, a vow from their cousins and ninja vows that were equally hilarious and tear jerking. My heart. This was a phenomenal ceremony.
“Jamie, we had so many people on Saturday say that was the best ceremony they have ever been to, including their own!
You really made the start of our wedding so special, not just for us but all of our family too, we are forever grateful. Also, I have given your details out to friends from the wedding. Thank you again Jamie, forever in our hearts.” Indira & Dave
